Booking.com

My French friends introduced me to a great website for European hotels: Booking.com. We found a great hotel in the old section of Nice that was astonishingly reasonable (60 Euro per night).

Tidbit

Wow! It's been nearly a month since I've posted. The telecom here is pretty slow and I've only recently had access to the internet. Anyway, this is kind of a silly post, but something that I didn't want to lose. In the past few days, I've had to call Germany and, in addition to figuring out how to get an outside line from the base, I had to figure out how to dial a German number from an Italian landline. I found a helpful website from Rick Steves and I thought that I'd share it. Here's the link.

It's a minor thing, but it's very helpful when you need to talk to someone in Germany.
