One of the JAGs is leaving this week, so the captains in the office went out to eat with him at Gelindo's. Although it was a bit far away, it was a fantastic place and we plan on going back. You can check it out here. I don't think that the English version of the website is working just yet. In any event, it's an agriturismo, where they serve food grown from the surrounding land. It's asparagus season right now, so most of the dishes featured asparagus. They also have they own label of wine. I'm sure there are a million places like this in Italy, but Gelindo (the owner) was particular friendly. His dog, a large brindle boxer, also was very friendly. We'll bring our family there when they visit.
